About the team

Welcome to the U14's Girls squad for girls who are in Year 8 or Year 9 at the start of September 2023.

We always looking to welcome new players. If you are interested in joining us this season please contact us before attending to find out full details

We offer rugby for new and experienced players in a fun and energetic environment for girls who are in Year 8 & Year 9 at Secondary school. We are passionate about what we do, but what we do is not about winning matches at all costs. Our goal is to bring children into the wonderful world of Rugby, and to allow them to experience the discipline, fellowship, fun and excitement to be had.

All of coaches are RFU qualified and DBS checked as well as first aid trained. All the coaches give up their time voluntarily and some have children involved in the teams.

Every child has a place in Rugby and there is place for every child. As Director of Rugby for Women's & Girls, Alban ensures that Fullerians RFC offers a welcoming, friendly and family atmosphere to ensure that all the girls get to play rugby.

We play League and friendly fixtures against other clubs and we ensure that everyone has fun each week by getting fully involved.

We are currently training over the summer and it is being run on the following dates:

Thursday Nights - 7pm to 8pm

When the season starts on Sunday 10th September 2023 the girls can then play games and train on a Sunday afternoon between 12pm to 1.30pm. This is subject to change for fixtures.

Thursday Nights - 6.30pm to 7.30pm

We welcome new players and we are always looking for girls to join our squad of players. As a new player you get chance to try three sessions before you commit to joining the club, after which you will have to pay the subs and buy the kit.

A gum shield will be required from the outset, though. That's important!

Contact Jules Goodair at juniorrugby@fullerians.co.uk if you have any questions, or come to see what it’s like yourself at any training session (though do check with us first that we aren’t playing an away fixture!). We’d be delighted to welcome you to the club.
