Fullerians RFC U7's - New players welcome

New Players Welcome - Boys & Girls in Year 2

We welcome all boys and girls starting year 2 in September 2019 who are interested in playing tag rugby. For season 2019/20 we will again be following the RFU Age Grade Rules for U7’s Tag Rugby and will be training or playing friendly fixtures both home and away against clubs across Hertfordshire.

Training sessions comprise warm-ups, fitness activities, ball handling skills and match practice and run from 10am through to 11:30am Sunday mornings from September through to April. We also focus on the core values of rugby union: TREDS (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship).

Children will be allowed 3 free training sessions to see whether they enjoy tag rugby, before paying membership fees to join the club.

If you are interested or would like further information please contact Karen Barnes (Team Admin).

We also operate a Business Page on Facebook and you can get lots of information by following us at https://www.facebook.com/Fulleriansyouth/

All our coaches are fully DBS checked and hold a RFU qualification to ensure a consistently high quality of coaching that always places enjoyment and safety first. Most of our coaches began by deciding to get involved, rather than watching from the side lines, and we always encourage parental involvement be it as coaches, first-aiders, referees or just vocal support!

The U7 teams have a number of friendly fixtures throughout the season with other local clubs which are listed on the website.

Thank you.
