Welcome to the Home of Fullerians U16s

Welcome to the 2019/20 Fullerians Under 16 Squad
The U16s' age group is made up of boys who will be in school Year 11 as of 1st September 2019.

We are always looking to recruit new members to our friendly squad of boys. We cater for players of all abilities, seeking to develop those who have been playing to a high standard with lots of ability and experience right the way through to those who pick up a rugby ball for the first time when they come to join us.

We have RFU-qualified volunteer coaches and referees running the sessions, all of whom are DBS-checked and focus on child welfare and protection best practices.

We actively coach the RFU's Core Values of Rugby:

• Teamwork
• Respect
• Enjoyment
• Discipline
• Sportsmanship

Training & Playing:
We usually train and play league and friendly matches on Sunday mornings 10-11.30am. We will have some away fixtures but will advise parents in advance.

Getting involved:
If you would like your child to play rugby, you can just turn up on Sunday morning and give it a go. There is absolutely no pressure. They can join in for the first few weeks (at the start or at any time during the season) to see if they like it. Please ensure your child rugby boots and a mouthguard. Please contact us via Martin Newman (Chair of the Junior Section - see contacts section on this site) or our Team Admin Beverley Dunn if you have any questions or to speak to the coaching team.

We also welcome all parents getting involved. All parents will be expected to help with the U16s' turns to fulfill kitchen and car parking duties during the season.

Please come along and join in. We would love for you to join our fun and friendly team.
