Fullerians U18 Girls 31 - Old Northamptonians 15

A great start to the season with a win in the first game. This was also our first in the Bucks League. After a slightly shaky start seeing ONs scoring a try in the first 10 minutes, the forwards pressed on and with some great rucking from the team Charlie managed to pop the ball over the line, followed by a great conversion from Amelia.
This set us up nicely with 2 more tries from Gbemi (one being her speciality of running virtually the whole length of the pitch), 1 of these kicked through the posts by Amelia.
ONs then scored a great try, swiftly followed by a hard fought one by Zoe. With less than 10 minutes on the clock ONs scored another try, but Gbemi was on the hunt scoring her 3rd of the day, yet again perfect kicking by Amelia for the conversion.
Well done to all today, some great rucking and passing. A big thank you to our players who played for the opposition – showing the true spirit of rugby.
