On Saturday 29th November, Fullerians RFC hosted our annual Goodair Charity Lunch, with this year’s chosen charity being JOCA, a cause close to the hearts of everyone at the club.

As an affiliate club of JOCA, we’re proud to support their mission of promoting pastoral care and wellbeing for all our members.

Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and (let’s admit it) gentle nagging from Jules, the event was packed and perfectly set for a fantastic lunch, followed by the Counties 1 Herts Cup Match: Fullerians vs Hertford II.

After another brilliant meal, the fundraising kicked off with a raffle full of delighted winners, a tombola featuring some very “interesting” prizes, and an auction for a British Lions shirt.

We’re thrilled to share that, through the generosity of everyone who attended, we raised an incredible £1,528 for JOCA! A special thank you also goes to Mark Bennett, who added a further £100 from his Movember fundraising efforts (as well as the proud owner of the Lions Shirt!).

A huge thank you to everyone for coming along, giving so generously, and hopefully not leaving with too many sore heads!
