Fullers 3's take on The Mount Prison.

This weekend Fullers 3's played there home fixture at The Mount?

(Well, they can't play away can they).

With the wind blowing hard and cold and 2 no show's, Fullers 3's played what turned out to be there most physical game of the season so far.

The Prison put there big guns out against us, they were all big strong and fast, but we didn't back down from the challenge. They opened the scoring from a dropped first kick and scrum, but this just woke us up and the "fight" was on. Point's were swapped and by half time the score was 7-12 to The Mount.

We started the second half stronger and worked our way into thier half. After being camped in thier 22 for a while we where given a penalty which Luke Lloyd took quickly and was blocked as he was in the process of scoring, to which the Ref gave us a penalty try to bring the score to 14-12. The score stayed like this with both teams fighting towards thier opponants line. In the final minute of the game Fullers were awarded a penalty on the touch line, with the wind bouncing off the high prison walls, Oli fountain kicked the ball what looked way past the right hand post, but the wind had different ideas and blow it back throught to make the final score Fullers 3's 17 - The Mount 12.
