Another win keeps Fullers at the top

22-12 win at Chesham keeps Fullerians women at the top of their league

The Furies rolled into Chesham Stags territory last Sunday and left with mud on their boots and another statement at the top of the table with a 22 - 12 win.
Inside the opening ten minutes, the spark arrived. A razor-sharp read from Georgie turned defence into pure theatre, snatching a beautiful interception and racing under the posts to set the tone. From there the attacking line hummed with intent. Fly-half Holly pulled the strings to glide over for the second, before Kayla’s patience paid off, finishing a phase of expansive, breathless rugby that had been building like a drumroll. Maggie, slotted the conversions under pressure to keep the scoreboard ticking. A monumental turn out for our ever roaring travelling support, keeping the sidelines loud and chanting on the winning team into half time.
The second half became a battle with the elements as much as the opposition. The pitch grew heavier, the tempo dipped, but the Furies’ kept powering with fresh legs. The bonus point stayed just out of reach, yet the final whistle still crowned a hard-earned victory against the league’s third-placed side.
Top of the table now firmly cemented, it was a performance carved from sharp thinking, clinical finishing and unapologetically ruthless coaching. A great game, played with grit and flashes of brilliance.

Debut from u18s Amelie Silver, showcasing the ever growing women's section down at Fullerians.

Your Furies play their last game away and our penultimate match of the season at Marlow RFC 29/03/26 with our final being held at Home on the 26/04/26, certainly two dates for your diaries!
