Fullers finally got their first league win of the year against a strong and resilient Hackney team who only had 14 players available to play.
Despite the man advantage Hackney stood up well against a side they have never beaten at this level with Fullers stretching their winning run to 7-0 with a 4 try bonus point victory.

It took just over 11 minutes for the first try of the game which looked like a usual Fullers set up with a another dominant scrum, led by John Barson at tight-head, on the five meter line this time though quick feet and a shove saw Andy Hovell fling the ball out to a flying Shaun Smith who crashed over under the posts, Dan Evans slotted the conversion with ease.
Hackney bounced back with a great effort utilising all their backs in a quick ball move, conversion made to level the score.
Dan Evans then converted an easy penalty right in front of the posts after Will Clark was tackled high.

Half time 10-7

Evans then extended the lead immediately after the break with Hackney knocking the ball on from the kick off, however Hackney continued to show what a good side they are and came back in to the game with another well worked try up the left hand side with Fullers not being able to land several tackles allowing Hackney to score and covert to take the lead for the first time in the game.
Tiring slightly and a lapse in concentration followed for the visitors who had a player sent to cool down for ten minutes following another high tackle allowed Fullers to kick on and flanker Sean Deller found himself stretching with all he had to get over the line for Fullers second try of the afternoon, Evans nailed the conversion again.
Sensing the game was closing in and a hard final push for a bonus point still in reach skipper Liam Boyd scored two similar efforts for his 2nd and 3rd of the season and Evans majestically kicked both to keep his 100% record in tact.
Elliot Sreeves was binned late on for a silly comment to the referee.
