On Saturday afternoon in the heat of Hitchin our women played in a sevens tournament and placed well.

After a ridiculously hot start and an even hotter finish our ladies x7 team came third norrowly losing out to Bedford in the semi final.

The first time we have put out a squad under our new head coach Sam Stabler, and the team certainly responded well! 4 games in total were played with a draw against Stockwood and X2 wins against Tabard and Kilburn kosmos.

A fantastic day with lots of trys, lots of smiles and a couple of debuts for our winning section including Katy Bradley coming up from our u18s. Some great pre season effort from everyone involved!!
