Fullerians Touch started their spring league on Wednesday19th of April at a festival played at the Saracens Bramley Road ground, racking up two wins against fierce local rivals, Saracens and Tabards,

Fullerians currently head the league table as they head to the own festival being held on Monday night. A second festival is planned on 20th May & all supporters & players are welcome!

Both matches were very tight however the discipline & structure instilled into the Fullerians team from training every Monday night over the winter, created a competitive edge. Karl Mahon’s on field organisation caught the eye of head coach Steve Simmonds. As did the tries from Chirag Patel & the overall work rate from Patricia Spinks. Chris Haacke nearly bagged try of the season with an intercept on our try line. A full pitch foot race only ended with the Tabard player desperately launching himself, tapping Chris’ leg as he put the ball down.

Touch is a summer sport & with local teams playing both a Spring league & a Winter League. Touch is an inclusive sport for all ages & fitness levels. We train on Monday nights @ 7:15pm and welcome anyone.
