From a relatively quiet start on Friday evening the weekend got off to a great start with live music from Elon Busk who thoroughly pleased the crowd whilst the real ale and gins got underway from volunteers Kevin Brind, Graeme Howard, Sue Dollard and Helen Brind supported by the men's section on the bar! Jeff Wall and Clyve Hancock we on hand early on in the day with Dave Toon setting up the pitches and changing rooms in preparation for the following days events.

Back down very early on Saturday morning and all hands on deck again to get the Gary Wall memorial lunch set up ready for the 90 guests in a pre-match meal. Andy Hill and his smashing team on beers and the lovely Sam Bishop and Jess Yeo ensured everyone didn't have an empty glass all day.

The players played their part too with two excellent victories against Hemel & Pinner to please the 400+ crowd.

Then it was on the the evening and what an evening it was despite AJ not being able to find enough to beat Usyk but the mood was fantastic as the Say What! band ensured everyone was up on their feet having a dance to some great music.

Sunday was a little hazy to be fair!!

Very little of this weekend could of happened without the army of volunteers (too many to mention individually) and the wonderful Caroline & Lou and their waiters & waitresses and Kim and the bar staff all of whom went above and beyond all weekend.

Finally a special shout out to club Steward Dave Jackson who has orchestrated the whole event and deserves a huge pat of the back from everyone when you see him next!

P.s. Dave will kill me for saying this but Fullerians Beerfestival 2022 is already underway.....date to be advised in due course.
