Fullerians new and inexperienced players took a big step forward, with a fantastic win at Hitchin. Despite going down 19-0 in the first quarter, their heads never dropped. As they started to find their feet, and their systems the scores started to flow. A lot of players stepped up to the mark, and once they were running everybody payed to their potential.
In the hours play it was hard to single any players out, but Trey won player of the week for a hard shift at the front of the scrum, and for sticking at it throughout the game. And a special mention for team manager Olli, taking a rest from playing and adding his wise words to the team at the breaks.
All in all a good day that shows that we are starting to build strength in depth.
