Training continues

It was great to welcome further new arrivals to training who we hope will enjoy their trial weeks and sign up for U13 Fullerians rugby. Although missing a few boys and coaches this week who were away with the County set-up, we had a good training session at the Coningesby Drive home ground. Phrase of the week might have been cornerflagging though the games made much of the new scrum laws for U13s. A good session and fortunate with the weather. Here's to week four next week.

Any mention of the Fullerians Quiz Night on 16 September? Huge thanks Jo & Rob Marsh, quiz master Steve Feasey and all who put on the excellent evening. The winners? Hopefully the new clubhouse fundraising did very well, including from the auction of a rather amazing gift of a pair of signed gloves donated by Watford-born IBF World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua. After a challenging few rounds of questions the team emerging at the top of the log were The Old Fallopians RFC team made up of seven U13 parents. Cue cheesy grin photos and bottles of wine for the winners.
