On a great sunny morning for Rugby the Fullerians A squad registered their best performance of the year.

Although Chess are a league below us we were expecting a closely fought match judging on past years, so the result was a pleasant surprise for all involved and was proof if we needed it of how far the Squad have come this year.

The Fullers pack was strong and physical and constantly won the gain line battles although the Chess team never gave up throughout the match which is a great credit to them. Our backline proved that when we get good quick ball we are calpable to scoring some great tries and with our half backs and Craig taking the ball on and off loading out of tackles it gave Gareth the opportunity to score some great tries and a Man of the match performance.

Well done to all the boys lets hope the A squad can continue winning ways in their next league game against Bank of England in two weeks time.
