From the first whistle Fullerians attacked the Beaconsfield try line and were rewarded with their first try of the day from Loose Head Prop Todd Gill, crashing over the try line after a well worked team move. The cheer from the touch line was delayed however due to the fog and uncertainty.
Again from the restart received by Harry Roberts Fullerians continued their attack with good pod work from the forwards and interplay with the backs, resulting in a well deserved Fullerians 2nd try.
At this point a little complacency appeared and Beaconsfield were awarded a try. This shocked the boys and they were soon back in Beaconsfield’s half and again the support running and quick ball gave Fullerians their 3rd try of the day and a 15 - 5 half time lead.
During the break the players themselves took control of the team talk and set the tone for a second half.
Again, powerful and commanding forward play with fantastic support lines
Fullerians ran in 3 more tries and with 3 minutes on the clock they declared time for 1 more! Which they did. Final Score 35 - 10.
This was definitely a team performance from 1 - 18 and those from the B team who played their 2nd game of the day were fantastic, so thank you.
It was said by Beaconsfield just how well Fullerians communicated and supported each other and it was a pleasure to watch, a sentiment that I am sure all those who watched would agree with.
