New proposal was granted planning permission in September 2015.
We got £200,000 from Watford Borough Council
£40,000 award from the RFU and also an interest free loan of £100,000.
Our own savings £40,000 +
Possible £50,000 on offer from Sport England (this has been applied for)
Total on offer / possible at present £400,000-£450,000
Went out to tender but came back at £869,000 to £1.2 million (far too much)
So back to planning for smaller build (2 RFU sized changing rooms) and 4 smaller ones
Social space will be the same as per the extended drawings with 4 metres more area in the bar and dining area
Still ticks all the boxes for community users and grants and much more affordable!
Last roll of the dice in the next 12 months as planning permission is until September 2018
