On big step closer to the return to rugby

The Club’s committee are delighted that today (22 February 2021) the Prime Minister has announced the government’s plan for a 4-step lockdown exit. We will now need to wait for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to agree with the RFU the details of what this means for the amateur game in England, however we are putting in place plans that will enable playing activity to resume at Fullerians from the end of March. We will confirm the exact dates of when we can get going again as soon as we can, but in the meantime rest assured that we are doing everything required to enable all members to return to rugby in a Covid safe way as soon as we are allowed.

Fullerians Chair, Malcolm Harrison said “the committee and I really excited about the prospect of getting back to playing and enjoying rugby soon. We will keep members up to date as we hear more from the RFU and how our preparations are going, please keep an eye out for more news on our website and social media.”
