This was the Colts last league game of the season and after two defeats the determination was clearly there to put this poor run to a stop. Both sides started the game strongly with the packs intent on dominating each other.

It should not be forgotten that this
annual fixture between Fullers and Hemel commemorates Chris Windsor, a
man who did so much for Fullerians in many different ways and who was
instrumental in the success of the mini and junior sections.
The Windsor Cup drew a large contingent from Fullerians with twenty six players declaring themselves available and all raring for a game. Unfortunately the Hemel could only raise fourteen players. The game started at a high pace (which was continued throughout the game) with Fullers immediately on the attack.

Barnet Colts 0 vs. Fullerians Colts 34 (County Cup)
The week running up to this game had been relatively dry so
the Barnet pitches, whilst heavy and soggy underfoot, were not as waterlogged
as they could have been. However, the heavy conditions were not to Fullers'
advantage, as we tend to play an open running game. Fullers received the
kick-off and had the slope and conditions in their favour for the first half.
